What we collect
A Legal Disclaimer
How we use your drawings
We collect the details you give us through our website, checkout, email or phone. These may include your name, email address, phone number, company, project address, local council, order details and correspondence.
We also receive architectural plans, surveys, photographs and instructions. A client or their architect, designer, builder, planner or surveyor may supply these on someone else’s behalf. Title blocks and survey notes can identify owners, consultants or adjoining properties.
Please send only information relevant to the assessment and make sure you are authorised to share it. You can remove unrelated names, signatures and contact details. Leave the site address, boundaries, dimensions, levels and relevant neighbouring features visible so we can model the shadows accurately.
We use your information to quote, check your instructions, prepare and deliver your shadow diagrams, answer questions and manage revisions. For example, a diagram may show an adjoining building or window to explain where the proposed development casts a shadow. You can make a general enquiry without sending plans, but we may need the drawings and site address before we can confirm a quote or complete the work.
We send the finished diagrams to you or your nominated project contact. We do not send your files directly to a council or certifier unless you ask us to, or the law requires it. Supplying plans for a quote or order does not give us permission to publish identifiable drawings in our website gallery. We will ask you first.
WeShadow is operated by Amores Design Pty Ltd (ABN 77 601 304 394). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit weshadow.au, request a quote, order shadow diagrams or send us drawings.

Security and retention
We hold information in our website, email, project files and business records. We take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access or disclosure. We keep information for as long as we need it to deliver the work, respond to project queries and meet professional, insurance, accounting or legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete it or remove identifying details.
